This hike takes you through the Parvin State Park and you get to stroll by two lakes: Parvin Lake and Thundergust Lake. During the depression the CCC hacked out trails through the dense forest and made wood to build bridges through the swamps. They cleared the main beach and picnic area and constructed cabins along the shore of Thundergust Lake. Leashed dogs are permitted.
